Andrew Benson

Andrew Benson is a Digital Broadcast Journalist with Global Regina.
Andrew graduated from the University of Regina School of Journalism during which he interned at CTV News and the Rod Pederson Show. He began his career in journalism with Global Regina as a freelancer before moving into a full-time position. During his education and career he has received a number of awards including the Bill Cameron Award in Journalism, the Saskatchewan Association of Broadcasters Ed Rawlinson Award, CTV Journalistic Writing Award and Bell Media Award in Journalism. Some of Andrew’s career highlights include filming and directing a documentary, and being the lead online reporter for the 2022 Grey Cup coverage in Regina.
When Andrew is not busy reporting he enjoys playing sports and watching movies.
