Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney unveiled the first batch of “nation-building projects” to help “turbocharge” Canada’s economy Thursday amid the unfolding trade war with the U.S. Five projects – now eligible for fast-track approval by his Edmonton-based major projects office – included the expansion of LNG Canada, as well as an expansion to the Contrecœur Terminal Container Project in Quebec and the doubling of its liquefied natural gas production.
