Speaking out on the recent burning of a church in Alberta and the violent attack on another in Michigan on Sunday, Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre suggested Monday that “Christians may be the number one group that (are) victims of hate-based violence.” Poilievre quickly followed up his remark with another, noting, “but of course, it's not politically correct to say that.”
